Abstract:  In this talk I will present the theoretical foundations for the Bayesian learning of the order and diffusion coefficient of fractional elliptic PDEs. I will motivate the applied relevance of this problem, and show how our results open several new theoretical and computational avenues for research. This is joint work with Nicolás García Trillos.
