Pure quadrilateral meshes are important in several simulation areas since they provide more accurate results if compared to triangular or mixed meshes.  Also Bob hired me to work on quads so quadrilateral meshes were VERY important for my financial stability. In this talk I will discuss a practical vertex regularization technique that starting from 'lousy' triangulations, produces suitable fully surface quad meshes designed for structural analysis  (and to please Bob).
